GDI Light Duty Cleaner Position, St. John's Southwest

Join GDI as a Light Duty Cleaner and play a crucial role in maintaining sanitariness in essential spaces. Your focus will be on cleaning washrooms, offices, and other common areas.

In this role at GDI Services (Canada) LP, you will ensure that all areas are kept clean and presentable. Daily responsibilities include mopping, sweeping floors, and cleaning washrooms and lunchrooms. You will also be responsible for the collection of garbage and the restocking of cleaning supplies as necessary to uphold GDI’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:• Clean all hard and carpeted floor areas • Conduct daily cleaning of washrooms and lunchrooms • Empty and maintain cleanliness of garbage cans • Spot clean surfaces, including light switches and doors • Replenish soap and towel dispensers when required

Requirements:• Criminal background check required for employment • Strong attention to detail in cleaning tasks • Ability to undertake various cleaning responsibilities • Willingness to accept additional duties when needed • Team player with a commitment to quality
