Service Advisor (Mount Pearl)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, accurately documenting vehicle/unit service needs, and coordinating repairs with our skilled technicians. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for motorsports & marine repair and exceptional customer service skills to grow within a dynamic environment. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, along with strong mechanical knowledge and sales abilities. Duties - Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport - Gather detailed vehicle/unit service information and accurately document customer concerns - Explain repair recommendations clearly and effectively to customers - Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle needs and customer preferences - Prepare repair orders, estimate costs, and communicate timelines to customers - Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently - Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs - Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns - Maintain organized records of all service transactions and customer interactions Qualifications - Previous dealership experience or mechanic background is preferred - Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly - Proven sales ability, including upselling services and parts effectively - Experience handling cash transactions and point-of-sale systems - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Robust organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently This position offers a rewarding career path for individuals passionate about the automotive industry, committed to providing exceptional customer experiences, and eager to develop their skills in a professional setting.
