Sales Associate (Mount Pearl)

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties - Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience - Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, offering knowledgeable recommendations and product demos when applicable - Conduct sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card payments with professionalism - Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities - Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring product availability - Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with inventory counts as needed - Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely - Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to create an inviting environment - Utilize organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods and prioritize customer needs Experience - Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided - Familiarity with merchandising, POS systems, cashiering, and basic math is advantageous - Bilingual or multilingual abilities (e.g., English and Spanish) are a plus for serving diverse customers effectively - Strong communication skills, time management, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role - Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and phone etiquette will be beneficial in engaging customers and increasing sales potential - Experience in Vape retail stores are highly recommended Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Pay: $16.87-$19.93 per hour Benefits: - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Store discount Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ptf2f
