Position Overview: - The Testing and Analysis North America (TANA) team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics, Quality & Process Engineer to support ongoing testing, emissions analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple groups within North America operations. - This role will focus on collecting and analyzing emissions and operational data, generating weekly/monthly reports and metrics, and supporting quality and lean process improvement efforts. - This is an ongoing initiative where the engineer will work closely with existing teams to interpret data, publish insights, and drive process optimization activities within a fast-paced testing and analysis environment. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, analyze, and interpret emissions and operational testing data - Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics, dashboards, and reports - Support analytics initiatives related to driver and emissions testing activitie - Develop and maintain Excel macros and reporting tools for process automation - Assist with continuous improvement and quality initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies - Support DFSS/DMAIC projects focused on quality improvements and cost reduction - Analyze downtime, process efficiency, and test issue trends - Work cross-functionally with testing and analysis teams across North America - Utilize programming languages such as C/C++ or Java to extract and process data - Participate in root cause analysis and process optimization activities - Contribute to ongoing production/test setting quality deployment efforts Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university - Minimum 2+ years of experience in data analytics, quality engineering, or process improvement - Strong experience with: - Excel Macros - Data Analytics and reporting - Continuous Improvement methodologies (DFSS, DMAIC, Six Sigma) - Experience interpreting data and generating actionable reports/metrics - Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills - Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies - Ability to work in a fast-paced production or testing environment Preferred Qualifications: - Automotive industry experience preferred - Experience with Java and/or C/C++ for data extraction and processing - Familiarity with SQL or relational databases - Experience with Minitab, SPC, or statistical analysis tools - Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and root cause analysis methodologies - Experience with project coordination or process optimization initiatives Technical Skills: - Excel Macros / Advanced Excel - Data Analytics & Reporting - DFSS / DMAIC / Six Sigma - Lean Process Improvement - C / C++ - Java - SQL (Preferred) - Statistical Analysis Tools (Minitab/SPC preferred) Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oa4g7
