aircraft structural repair technician .
Job Details
Salary 20.00 to 45.00 per hour (to be negotiated), 40 hours per week.
Employment: Permanent, Full-time.
Education: College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate/diploma from a 1 to 2‑year program.
Experience
3 to less than 5 years.
Work location: on‑site, no remote.

Responsibilities
Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and procedures.
Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety.
Repair and overhaul to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems.
Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports.
Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble.
Inspect work of aircraft mechanics performing modifications to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
Perform and document routine maintenance.
Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions.
Credentials and Certifications
Data acquisition system (DAS or DAQ).
MS Office.
Aviation Special Processes
Heat treatment.
Large turbine helicopters.
Industry Experience
Repair and overhaul facility.
Mechanical Maintenance and Repair Specialization
Aircraft maintenance - general.
Security and Safety
Criminal record check.
Transportation/Travel
Valid driver's licence.
Own transportation.
Own vehicle.
