We are currently recruiting Personal Support Workers to assist an employer with a Traumatic Brain Injury, to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living. The employer is a positive and happy individual who likes TV and music. Someone with a positive sense of humor would be perfect for this opportunity! Location: - Nanaimo (Near Beban Park) Shifts & Hours of Work: - Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm - Must be available for both the shifts - Back up shifts available Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm Compensation: - $29.00 per hour Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to): - Cueing and direction through all activities of daily living - Take the employer on outings - Keeping the employer safe - ROM exercises Required Qualifications: - Class 5 driver's license and personal vehicle required - Health Care Assistant certification preferred - Experience supporting the employer with Traumatic Brain Injury and Mental Health required - Willingness to be trained - Good sense of humor - Must be a non-smoker and non-vaper - Must have no history of injuries - Must live in Nanaimo If you are interested in this position and meet all the required qualifications, please apply directly to this job posting.
