Pipefitter (Nanaimo)

We are currently hiring for Journeyperson Pipefitters PFP is an Island Owned Company operating out of Nanaimo, BC. The majority of our work is local (North Nanaimo to Duncan), with occasional travel to the mainland of BC and Alberta. Responsibilities and Duties: Read and interpret blueprints, measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass valves, pipes, fittings, join pipe sections and secure in position, use test equipment to check systems for leaks, install supports, valves, piping and control systems, complete tasks in line with PFP and industry standards, procedures and practices. Requirements: Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification The current position is for a 2-3 month long project with the possibility of becoming permanent.
