Human Resources Manager, Parksville

We are currently partnering with a growing, employee-owned infrastructure organization to hire an experienced HR Manager to support multiple operations across Vancouver Island.

This is a hands-on, field-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and brings strong expertise in labour relations, recruitment, and leadership coaching.

About the Role

As the HR Manager, you will act as a key HR Business Partner to multiple business units, supporting employees and leaders across several sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring consistent HR practices while supporting growth and operational success.

You will work closely with both local leadership and a centralized HR team, balancing independence with collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on labour relations, including collective agreement interpretation, discipline, and employee relations matters
• Lead full-cycle recruitment across field, operational, and technical roles
• Support onboarding and workforce integration, particularly during growth or acquisitions
• Partner with leaders on performance management, employee engagement, and HR best practices

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of HR experience in a unionized environment
• Strong background in labour relations and collective bargaining
• Experience supporting multi-site or field-based operations
• Ability to work independently while partnering with leadership in a dynamic environment
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Vancouver Island
