School Psychologist for Emotional Wellness (Nanaimo)

Support student development as a School Psychologist in multiple district locations. Focus on emotional well-being, academic success, and social-emotional support for students. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the emotional and academic health of students. This position involves comprehensive assessments and collaboration with educators and families within the Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing and inclusive learning setting for students. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments for student needs - Collaborate with School-Based Team and families - Develop and implement social-emotional support programs - Facilitate interventions across MTSS tiers - Ensure alignment of services with educational goals Requirements: - Registered member of the BC College of Psychologists by August 1, 2026 - Preferred BC Teacher Regulation Branch certification - Master’s Degree in Psychology or School Psychology - Experience in school settings and report writing - Credentials for individual assessments Drive positive change in student lives and foster academic success.
