Line Cook (Nanaimo)

We are looking for someone who is dedicated and punctual, with attention to detail and someone who enjoys working as part of a team. Looking for someone to work 4-5 shifts a week. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications. - Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. - Assist in meal preparation and presentation for service. - Provide excellent food service to customers, ensuring satisfaction. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow. - Handle food items safely and responsibly, adhering to industry regulations. Qualifications - Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment. - Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices. - Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a kitchen setting. - Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food industry standards. - Excellent serving skills and customer service orientation. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
