Retail Sales Associate (Part-time) (Nanaimo)

Windsor Plywood Nanaimo is looking for someone to join our team on a part time basis as a retail sales associate. The ideal candidate will assist customers in finding and purchasing products, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the overall success of our retail store. Schedule Requirements: - Mondays from 8:30am to 5:00pm (8hrs) - Saturdays from 8:00am to 4:00pm (8 hrs) About us Windsor Plywood is a Canadian owned building supply company that has been in business since 1969. **Duties:** - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner - Operate Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions - Handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor - Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves - Answer customer inquiries via phone, in-person, or email -Help customers load material into vehicles, including cutting of plywood and mouldings to fit **Qualifications:** - Prior experience in retail sales is preferred - Proficiency in cashiering and cash handling procedures - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members - Knowledge of English language for effective communication Join our team as a Retail Sales Associate and be part of a dynamic retail environment where you can grow your skills and contribute to delivering exceptional customer service.
