Full-Time Child Psychiatrist on Vancouver Island (Nanaimo)

Join the Central Island Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program as a full time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Contribute to telepsychiatry outreach and innovative mental health programs for children. This role focuses on program development, including consultation for the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Service at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. As an essential part of the team, you'll provide support through various initiatives such as the Mental Health Day Program and Early Psychosis Intervention Program. Additionally, training medical students and residents, engagement in research and consultation duties with local mental health teams are integral to this position.
