Clinical Dietitian in Nanaimo, BC

Join the food services team as a Clinical Dietitian in Nanaimo, BC, working two days a week. Provide essential nutrition care, enhancing residents' health and quality of life.

This role requires expertise in developing nutritional care plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. You will conduct assessments, document care plans, and utilize your knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure residents' safety. Key Responsibilities:• Assess nutritional needs and develop care plans • Document and communicate care plans effectively • Perform clinical assessments for weight management • Participate in resident care conferences regularly • Maintain compliance with facility policies and dietary standards

Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field • Minimum of 2 years clinical practice experience • Temporary or Full Registration with provincial Dietetics body • Strong communication and organizational skills • Food Safety Certificate and dysphagia management experience preferred
