Full-Cycle Accountant at Pacific Industrial, Central Island (Chemainus)

Bring your accounting expertise to Pacific Industrial&Marine as a Full-Cycle Accountant. This hybrid role blends hands-on financial management with collaborative insights for effective project execution.

You will manage complete accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reconciliations. Reporting directly to management, you will ensure accurate financial statements and support the daily operations of various projects within the construction sector. This role requires attention to detail and offers opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:• Handle full-cycle accounting processes, from AP to reconciliations • Lead month-end and year-end close and prepare statements • Maintain job costing, project tracking, and cost allocations • Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations, and maintain ledgers • File compliance documents and support audits

Requirements:• 2-3 years of full-cycle accounting experience • Post-secondary degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA is a plus • Proficient in Sage, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office • Clear communicator with analytical and problem-solving skills
