Responsibilities - Assist in supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards - Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations - Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper storage practices - Support the training and development of team members, fostering a collaborative work environment - Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with safety guidelines - Collaborate with restaurant management to implement menu changes and improve service quality - Serve as a leader during shifts, stepping in for the Head Chef when necessary Skills - Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service setting - Robust skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques - Excellent team management and leadership abilities - In-depth knowledge of restaurant management operations and hospitality standards - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry - Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on serving guests professionally - Demonstrated experience in kitchen experience, restaurant experience, or related roles within the hospitality sector This role is perfect for a motivated culinary professional looking to advance their career while contributing to a vibrant dining experience.
