In addition to our retail show floors, we have a dedicated industrial sales team that supports large accounts in finding the right tool for their job. We are currently looking for candidates with previous account or industrial sales experience to join the Nanaimo team. Ideal candidates will have: - 2+ years of Outside Sales, Account Management, or Sales Support experience, ideally within the industrial supply, hardware, construction equipment, or automotive sectors - A passion for sales and customer service - Knowledge of the tool and equipment industry and the product lines we carry - Comfortable using specialized business software, such as ERP systems and CRM tools - A clean driver's abstract, a valid driver's license, and a personal vehicle in good condition (required) - A strong ability to prioritize, plan, and multitask - Comfortable navigating active industrial environments and construction sites, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and wearing required PPE - Self-starter with excellent time-management skills - Ability to lift and move product/demonstration equipment up to 50 lbs As an industrial sales representative, your duties will include: - Manage, grow, and maintain a dedicated portfolio of industrial accounts through proactive field visits - Develop current sales relationships through effective territory management and cold calling - Collaborate closely with the industrial sales order desk and store manager to coordinate the fulfillment process, ensuring all customer orders are completed accurately and efficiently - Provide outstanding customer service at every point of the customer experience - Accurately log daily sales activities, customer touchpoints, and territory developments within our CRM program - Continually strive to gain applicable product knowledge by actively participating in vendor training events, tool seminars, and internal educational sessions - Meet sales goals and targets - Work hard to “get it done” and have fun doing so!
