Room Attendant (Nanaimo)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness. Duties - Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless. - Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. - Restock supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other essentials in guest rooms. - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. - Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms. - Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. - Assist with laundry duties as needed to support overall operations. Skills - Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer service excellence. - Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory. - Familiarity with hotel operations and standards is an advantage. - Attention to detail with an ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. - Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timelines.
