Caregiver Personal Support Worker Nck Nanaimo

We are currently recruiting a casual/on call Personal Support Worker to assist a male employer, who is blind, in all activities of daily living. This employer enjoys reading and writing, as well as power-lifting and anything to do with fitness. He makes frequent visits within his community, and enjoys connecting with nature and the outdoors. Location: North Nanaimo (near Neck Point Park) Shifts & Hours of Work: Casual Respite Shift and Back Up (8:30am to 4:30PM or 4:30pm-9:00PM Daily) In Home and In Community Casual worker to fill in for regularly scheduled employees and work additional shifts that arise Compensation: $29.83 per hour Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to): Assistance with Activities of Daily Living Guidance around home and in public Assistance with Meal Prep, Light housekeeping, Med Administration, Toilet Routine, Laundry, Required Qualifications: Formal Education in healthcare (RCA, HCA, Nursing etc) First Aid/CPR and Food Secure are required Must have a Class 5 Drivers License and clean drivers abstract Basic iPhone and computer skills Knowledge of electronics used by the blind community is a solid asset If you are interested in this position and meet all the required qualifications, please apply directly to this job posting.
