- Education: - Expérience: - Education - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - Work site environment - Outdoors - Tasks - Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements - Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster - Clean and prepare surfaces - Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners - Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings - Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife - Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets - Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists - Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound - Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring - Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets - Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath - Install exterior and interior steel studs - Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools - Prepare wall and ceiling layouts - Weight handling - Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) - Experience - Will train - Health perks - Dental plan - Disability benefits - Health care plan - Support for youths - Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth - Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth - Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth - Durée de l'emploi: Permanent - Langue de travail: Anglais - Heures de travail: 30 to 40 hours per week Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nymmh
