Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring high-quality food service in a quick-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Assist in food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including stations and equipment - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times - Ensure timely delivery of dishes to meet service standards - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations - Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies - Adhere to serving protocols, ensuring proper presentation and portion control Qualifications - Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred - Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices - Strong cooking skills with familiarity in meal preparation techniques - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Passion for the food industry and commitment to quality service - Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and evenings if required This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who want to grow their skills within a dynamic restaurant setting.
