Contribute to Community Living – Fort Erie as a Volunteer Board Director, sharing your expertise to guide strategic growth and governance while serving the Niagara community. This role requires approximately three hours monthly and includes attending evening meetings. As a Board Director, you will work with the Executive Director and leadership team to provide oversight and direction for strategic initiatives. Your input will help ensure the organization remains financially sound while fostering its mission. This position is ideal for those looking to make a tangible impact on community engagement and support for individuals with intellectual challenges. Key Responsibilities: Attend monthly Board meetings in the evenings Contribute to strategic planning initiatives Review budgets and monitor financial reports Support CLFE’s mission with guidance and oversight Act as an ambassador in the Niagara community Requirements: Advocacy and community engagement experience Background in HR, policy, or governance preferred Experience in non-profit or social services Financial, legal, or business acumen valued Lived experience with disability encouraged Bring your passion for community support and governance to help shape CLFE’s future.
