Production Supervisor (Scotsburn)

We are seeking a responsible individual, with a commitment to workplace safety and an ability to make decisions and motivate your team to achieve objectives. We are looking for individuals who have previously supervised a Sawmill and/or Planer production crew; may consider supervisory experience from another manufacturing industry. This is a full time position with a full range of benefits that are comprehensive and competitive. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The successful candidates will be employed in a very rapid paced environment, motivating both experienced and new employees to work safely while achieving production goals. This position is essential in the long term growth of this company and you will be relied on to have your team achieve both safety and production objectives. This environment contains many automated pieces of equipment, ranging from lumber scanners, optimization controls, and modern sawing and dressing automation. This site will work 2 shifts per day on a Monday to Friday operation, some weekend work may be necessary. Employees in this classification work a 10 hour shift schedule. Essential assets include: working as a team player, having the ability to multitask, being an innovative thinker, demonstrating a positive work ethic and having the ability to work and communicate successfully in a team environment with minimal supervision. Given the nature of this position, being adaptable to various work assignments and conditions is essential.
