THE JOB Are you dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors We’re looking for General Labourers to assist with outdoor cleanup and maintenance duties for a 30-day project. In this role, you will be working in outdoor conditions performing general labour tasks such as raking and picking up litter. This position involves a combination of walking, standing, bending, and crouching throughout the day while working alongside a team in a safety-focused workplace. WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY - $20/per hour - Full-time Monday to Friday schedule; - 30-day project opportunity; - Outdoor work environment; - Team-oriented atmosphere; SCHEDULE - Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. REQUIREMENTS To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: CSA-approved 8-inch steel-toed boots and a reflective vest are required for safety. Candidates must have their own reliable transportation to the work site. Employees must be comfortable working outdoors for long periods of time and capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. This role requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and crouching throughout the shift. Workers are expected to dress appropriately for changing weather conditions, including wearing layers, jeans or work pants, and a t-shirt or sweater. Employees must wear PPE at all times and regularly apply sunscreen and bug spray to help limit exposure to outdoor conditions. The client will report hours worked directly for payroll purposes; however, employees are expected to keep track of their own hours, including dates worked and start/end times, in case of payroll discrepancies.
