New Graduate Opportunity EMCO Corporation is a leading national wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks and industrial products to the construction industry. We provide quality and cutting‑edge products that help support residential, commercial and infrastructure initiatives across Canada. Job Description Base Salary – $52,500 + Profit Sharing We are currently seeking new or recent graduates to join our Management Development Program . This is a full‑time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing. Successful candidates may be required to relocate within Canada; relocation assistance will be provided. The Role As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a four‑phased program to learn every aspect of how our business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales and operations management to employee development. You will build a sales territory, provide world‑class customer service, and receive guidance, mentoring and support from current managers and teammates. Program Outline Phase 1 (12 months): Warehouse and Customer Service – Build product knowledge and gain hands‑on experience with logistics, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management and financial statements. Phase 2 (12 months): Customer Relationships and Procurement – Transition from customer service to managing large‑scale projects, reading blueprint drawings, and creating material quotes. Phase 3 (15–18 months): Account Management and Proactive Sales – Focus on business development, identifying recent opportunities, selling our products, negotiating contracts and expanding the customer base. Phase 4 (3 months): Leadership and Operations – Provide a strategic vision, lead a team, mentor others and manage business operations while developing leadership competencies. After completing the phases, you will be prepared to take on a managerial role at one of our Canadian profit‑center locations.
