Position Details - Location: St. Joseph's Women's Hospital 3030 West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607 - Status: Pool - Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM - On Call: Yes - Always in person Summary The Operating Room Pool RN responsibilities include: - RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards - RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team - RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization - RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned For this position, we strongly prefer at least 18 months Operating Room experience as an RN. This position is set at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital and requires a minimum commitment of 48 hours per six-week schedule plus Call. Specific Skills - Clinical skills appropriate to position - Interpersonal skills Certifications And Licensures - BLS (Basic Life Support) - RN (Registered Nurse) - ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department - Preferred Nurse Specialty Education - Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma - Preferred Bachelor's Nursing Experience - Required includes 1 years acute care experience or 1 years Interventional/Procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or Interventional/Procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment - Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
