Landscape Construction Labourer (Antigonish Landing)

Job Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated Landscape Construction Labourer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and hands‑on experience with both hardscape and softscape installations. This role is physically demanding and requires someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and teamwork. Responsibilities - Installation of hardscape elements (retaining walls, patios, walkways, steps, grading, bases) - Installation of softscape elements (soil prep, sod, planting trees and shrubs, garden beds) - Operate and assist with hand tools, power tools, and light equipment - Load, unload, and transport materials - Work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Follow site plans, directions, and safety procedures - Maintain a clean and organized job site - Work efficiently as part of a crew and independently when required Requirements - Minimum 5 years experience in construction (landscape construction preferred) - Comfortable lifting 50 lbs or more repeatedly - Robust work ethic and reliability - Ability to take direction and work as part of a team - Good physical condition and stamina - Valid driver’s license (preferred) - Experience with skid steers, mini‑excavators, or plate compactors is an asset What We Offer - Competitive wages based on experience - Steady, consistent work - Professional and supportive team environment - Opportunity for growth and leadership roles - Work on high‑quality residential and commercial projects Pay: $16.91-$24.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2psv4o
