Engineering Support (New Tecumseth)

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Engineering Support to join their team. As an Engineering Support, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Engineering Support Location: Alliston, ON Pay Range: $38.50- $40.50 per hour Shift: Monday to Friday What's the Job? • Manage and lead projects of various complexities including initial investigation, project and budget approval, resource management, testing, and implementation. • Develop proposals and deliver presentations to all levels of management. • Collaborate with departments such as Quality, Safety, and Purchasing on equipment specification, design, and procurement. • Lead and support equipment commissioning, modifications, and installations. • Create, modify, or review assembly and layout drawings using Catia and AutoCAD. What's Needed? • 3-5 years of engineering support experience in a manufacturing setting. • Proficiency with CMMS is a must, job plans, construction supervision, robotics, and lock out/tag out procedures. • Experience managing projects, developing proposals, and delivering presentations. • Ability to create and interpret mechanical or electrical schematics and drawings. • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to organize and present data effectively.
