SALARY STARTING AT-$60,000 FULL TIME HOURS - Must be able to work, days, afternoons and overnight shifts WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The Assistant Manager, Slope Maintenance, will report directly to the Manager, Slope Maintenance and will oversee a team of Groomers, Snowmakers, Welders, and Heavy Equipment Operators. This position is responsible for helping to create a community of employees united by purpose and fun, deliver a mountain experience to guests that inspires stories, and who achieve departmental objectives and key results. This position and their team are responsible for ensuring the best and safest on-hill product is produced and maintained. They will plan, supervise, and coordinate the activities of teams engaged in grooming, snowmaking, and summer construction projects. - Leading by example; working alongside team members to ensure the team is supported - Manage performance and motivate by setting explicit expectations, measuring productivity, coaching, addressing concerns, and recognizing achievements. - Creating and maintaining schedules according to budgets and operational demands. - Planning and providing standardized on-boarding and training - Enforcing safety regulations and coordinating accident procedures - Coordinating and overseeing daily shift work and team communications - Coordinating maintenance and timely reporting of equipment issues to maximize up time.
