THE ROLE As a Delivery Management associate you will be responsible for the order and delivery management of parts from OEM suppliers. Upon receiving your supply base, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring of supply chain deliveries, expedite tracking, and investigating part supply and delivery concerns. Associate must be able to identify risk within their (suppliers) supply chain, be able to summarize the data, and elevate to team manager as needed. Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and ability to work under pressure on occasion are a must for this position. *
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor, manage and control abnormal supply chain conditions and elevate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) abnormalities and concerns
Daily Management of OEM Supplier deliveries to the organization
Daily parts order release to OEM supply base (GPCS)
Daily monitoring of the supply chains deliveries.
Expedite recovery of Mass Production parts and tracking of expedite milestones
Investigate part supply&delivery concerns. Issuance of Trouble Reports to OEM suppliers&evaluation of supplier’s countermeasures.
Create and present reports on supply chains QCDMS status
Communicate&network with N.A Sites on supply chain activities and concerns
REQUIREMENTS
University degree or College diploma in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business or Mathematics
OR
minimum 2 years of equivalent experience in Supply Chain
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel; Use advanced functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) , manage and format data; *
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and evaluate results, strong mathematical aptitude
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Organizational skills: ability to manage priorities and meet established deadlines
EDI, MS Outlook and other Honda system tools experience
Experience working in a fast paced, results oriented environment
Knowledge of supply chains and Honda Operations
Knowledge of part manufacturing processes and capacity analysis
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
JOB RELATED MUST HAVES
Willing and able to work overtime/weekends on short notice
Willing and able to travel within North America on short notice
Willing to cancel pre-booked vacations based on business needs
Support Supply Chain shift rotation
Willing and able to support Production when required
