You will rotate between multiple workstations, perform highly repetitive tasks with accuracy, and contribute to deburring, cutting, crimping, sanding, and assembly activities. This position plays a key role in supporting welders, preparing products for shipment, and maintaining consistent quality and output across the production floor. Responsibilities Rotate between different production stations daily, working with up to 20 machines depending on current orders and workflow. Operate production machines that are set up by the Charge Hand by placing racks or parts in position and using a foot pedal to weld or process components, repeating tasks 20200 times per order as required. Operate a sanding machine to smooth and finish edges of metal tubes using a belt sander, ensuring clean and safe edges. Move parts from welding and production stations to designated areas for cleaning, inspection, or shipment preparation. Use power tools and hand tools to clean up machined parts, remove burrs, and ensure components meet quality standards. Perform assembly tasks by pulling small plastic pieces off machines, stacking them neatly, and packing them into boxes for shipment. Count products accurately to ensure the correct quantity is packaged and shipped for each order. Follow basic schematics and work orders to complete tasks correctly and understand the sequence of production steps. Assist with general labor duties such as loading, packaging, packing, cleaning work areas, and moving materials around the shop floor. Contribute to general production and assembly line activities, maintaining productivity and meeting daily production targets. Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines in a manufacturing workplace, particularly around metal, plastics, power tools, and machinery. Work collaboratively with team members, including laborers, machine operators, fabricators, and welders, to keep production running smoothly.
