Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety and aesthetic standards. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment in a fast-paced setting. The Painter will contribute to the production process by maintaining the integrity and appearance of our products through exact application techniques. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed Apply paint, coatings, or finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other power tools Operate machinery such as cranes or forklifts when necessary to move materials safely Use hand tools and power tools to complete surface preparation and finishing tasks Follow safety protocols including proper handling of chemicals and equipment Perform quality inspections to ensure finishes meet specifications and standards Maintain a clean work area and properly store tools and materials Assist with assembly or machining tasks as required in support of production goals Support lean manufacturing initiatives by adhering to effective work practices Requirements 1 to 2 years experience in painting Solid attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nfc5n
