Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming setting for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency. Responsibilities - Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces - Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively to maintain high standards of cleanliness - Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed - Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance or cleaning needs - Assist with minor maintenance tasks or report issues requiring specialized repair - Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors Qualifications - Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred - Knowledge of facilities maintenance and basic maintenance procedures is a plus - Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently - Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift supplies or equipment as needed - Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Pay: $18.75 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o388s
