DueCare Management Inc. serves as the headquarters and central support hub for Academics Education Systems, RESET Learning Inc., and Power Play Early Learning. The organization provides administrative, operational, and strategic support to these affiliated education-focused entities, helping ensure consistency in quality, compliance, staff development, and organizational effectiveness. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Training and Development Officer for a short-term summer project prospect. This role will support internal learning, onboarding, compliance, and employee development initiatives across the organization during the temporary placement period. This role is ideal for someone interested in training and development, education, or administrative project support. Key Responsibilities The Staff Training and Development Officer will support the HR team and internal committees with projects related to employee training, policy updates, and internal learning resources. Duties may include: - Supporting the development and delivery of employee onboarding programs across the organization; - Assisting with creating, updating, and organizing online training modules on the company’s internal learning platform; - Helping develop and revise company policies, procedures, and annual training materials; - Building and maintaining training resources, guides, checklists, and workflow maps; - Supporting EDGE U training content development in collaboration with the Programming Committee; - Researching best practices, identifying training gaps, and proposing improvements to current training systems; - Monitoring staff participation in mandatory training and maintaining accurate training records; - Participating in virtual and occasional in-person meetings to gather feedback on project progress; - Providing administrative and logistical support, including uploading materials, formatting documents, and organizing digital resources; - Learning about internal systems, early childhood education fundamentals, and the operational needs of the organizations supported by DueCare Management; and - Performing other related tasks that support staff development, organizational learning, and continuous improvement. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; - Good attention to detail and organizational skills; - Comfort using digital tools, online platforms, and shared documents; - Interest in HR, training, education, childcare operations, or organizational development; - Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work both independently and collaboratively; - Willingness to learn and take feedback; and - Professionalism when handling internal information and training materials. To be eligible, applicants must meet the program requirements, including being between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment, being legally entitled to work in Canada, and having a valid Social Insurance Number.
