As a key division of the Society, Regent Christian Online Academy (RCOA) specializes in partnering with home-learning families to provide a flexible, high-quality K-12 education. We bring the RCAS mission to life as a Provincial Online Learning School, offering innovative onsite and virtual programming across British Columbia. At RCOA, we are dedicated to providing a personalized educational journey that inspires lifelong learning and fosters spiritual growth in every student.

Overview Community Club Instructors are the architects of engagement at RCOA. In this role, you will design and lead theme-based units that change each term, keeping the curriculum fresh and exciting. Our Community Club classes are known for being high-energy environments where students learn by doing. Rather than traditional lectures, you will facilitate a personalized educational journey through project based activities that inspire lifelong learning and spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities Unit Design: Plan and execute creative, theme-based units that rotate each term to maintain high student engagement.

Instructional Delivery: Lead high-energy, in-person classes using hands-on, project-based learning methods.

Inclusive Teaching: Adapt and modify activities to ensure learning is accessible and meaningful for students of diverse abilities.

Community Communication: Maintain the "bridge" between the classroom and home by posting weekly class summaries and highlights on Seesaw.

Collaboration: Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to support the broader RCOA mission and school community.

Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, Christ-centered environment where students grow in character and purpose.

Core Competencies High Energy&Enthusiasm: Ability to lead a dynamic classroom and keep students motivated through active participation.

Project-Based Mindset: Skill in translating educational themes into tangible, hands-on projects.

Relational Care: A deep‑stated care for students’ whole-child development and spiritual well‑being.

Adaptability: The capacity to "move fast" and pivot instructional strategies to meet the needs of a growing school community.
