Menswear Freelance Copywriter (Surrey)

SPIER & MACKAY is looking for a freelance copywriter with strong e-commerce and menswear experience to support our growing brand. This role is focused on creating compelling, conversion-driven content across product pages, landing pages, email marketing, social media, and digital advertising. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of menswear and tailoring, with the ability to communicate quality, craftsmanship, and value through clear, refined, and engaging copy. You should be comfortable writing both editorial-style brand content and performance-focused marketing copy designed to drive engagement and sales. Responsibilities - Write and optimize product descriptions for tailoring, sportcoats, shirts, knitwear, outerwear, footwear, and accessories - Develop landing page copy for seasonal campaigns, product launches, promotions, and new collections - Create email marketing copy including subject lines, promotional emails, and automated campaigns - Write paid advertising copy for Meta, Google, and other digital platforms - Develop social media captions and campaign messaging aligned with the SPIER & MACKAY brand voice - Maintain a consistent tone across all customer-facing communication - Collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to execute campaigns efficiently - Assist with SEO-focused copywriting and keyword optimization - Translate product details, fabrics, and craftsmanship into compelling customer-facing messaging Qualifications - English must be the candidate’s first language - Proven experience in e-commerce copywriting, preferably within menswear, tailoring, fashion, or luxury/value-focused brands - Strong understanding of conversion-focused writing and direct response marketing - Experience writing product copy, landing pages, email marketing, paid ads, and social content - Strong understanding of menswear, tailoring, fabrics, fit, and garment construction - Ability to balance editorial storytelling with concise, high-performing marketing copy - Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading skills - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines - Preferred Experience - Experience writing for tailoring or menswear brands - Understanding of classic menswear and modern e-commerce marketing - SEO and keyword optimization experience - Experience working with creative and marketing teams on campaign execution Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ov1ur
