In this role, you will primarily assist engineering personnel in producing as-built and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D modelling software. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: · Develop detailed design and construction drawings for shoring and formwork systems, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with engineering requirements. · Prepare tower crane layouts, including crane placement, climbing details, and tie-in locations. · Design miscellaneous construction equipment layouts, such as hoist placements and temporary structures. · Assist in preparing as-built drawings by incorporating field data from site inspections. · Perform field measurements, sketches, and site condition assessments to inform design work. · Conduct site inspections as required to ensure design implementation. · Collaborate with engineers to ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and project specifications. · Assist engineers in reviewing drawings for accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project requirements. · Develop and maintain drawing templates, standard details, and CAD libraries to improve efficiency and consistency. · Ensure all drawings adhere to internal CAD standards and industry best practices. · Demonstrate effective time management by meeting project deadlines and adjusting to shifting priorities. · Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions. · Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising engineer. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: · Expertise in AutoCAD and proficiency in Inventor. · Strong understanding of construction methodologies for shoring, formwork, and crane systems. · Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to structural and temporary works design. · Ability to interpret engineering drawings, and specifications. · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Effective communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team. · Willingness to conduct site visits and fieldwork as required.
