As a Senior Accountant, Cloud Accounting Services (Senior Bookkeeper) – Responsibilities Reconcile data from third‐party applications such as Dext, Wagepoint, Plooto, etc. Reconcile bank accounts and credit‐card statements in Quick Books Online. Reconcile and review sales data. Review accounts receivable/accounts payable and process using third‐party applications. Reconcile monthly vendor statements. Review payroll time entries and process payroll. Run GST/HST/PST reports, review audit trail and file reports with CRA. Prepare T4 returns. Set up client files, assist with budgets and other cloud‐bookkeeping work. Perform/assist with month‐end, quarter‐end and year‐end close processes. Experience with prepaids, amortization and inter‐company transactions preferred. Perform basic financial analysis. Prepare basic analytical reports and cash‐flow statements. Participate in client discovery calls. Collaborate with clients on a regular basis. Train and mentor junior colleagues. Qualifications and Skills A passion for technology and creative thinking. Bookkeeping certification or equivalent. 2+ years' experience in a similar role. Quick Books Pro Advisor certification is an asset. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Experience working independently and as a team on engagements, monitoring tasks and deadlines. Attention to detail. Experience in Microsoft Excel. Compensation Current salary range for this role is $59,500–$81,800 in South Surrey. The range may differ in other locations to reflect local market factors.
