Description
The Mechanical Designer is responsible for creating new and derivative power transmission products and rotating equipment packages to meet specification requirements while furthering the company goals. Duties/Responsibilities: - Design clutches, gears, housings, hydraulics systems and other powertrain components. - Create controlled engineering documentation and drawings to support project execution. - Create detailed project Bill of Materials. - Support the rest of project team (Project Manager, Designers, and Operations) to complete required submittals and confirm scope/design details meet all project requirements. - Maintain & update project-drawing libraries, within area of responsibility. - Provide in-house support for Operations & Field Service staff during appropriate times over the course of a project schedule. Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Experience: - Mechanical Engineering Degree or Technology Diploma or an amount of relevant industry experience that would be equivalent. - Minimum 3 to 5 years of design experience in a manufacturing setting. - Experienced in designing power transmission products including: clutches, gears, housings, lubrication and hydraulic systems. - Product development experience. Experience in an ISO 9001 setting. - A well‑organized, multi‑tasking ability with solid commitment to meet deliverable is required. - Familiarity with Pro‑E or other solid modeling software. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p51r6
