Employment Status Instructor - Auxiliary Scope The City of Surrey’s Recreation Division aims to build healthy communities where all people are active and engaged for life. As part of that commitment, we’re looking for program instructors to lead First Aid classes. Responsibilities Independently instruct First Aid courses and any related re-certification courses. You will be teaching youth and adults in various City facilities and be: Sharing your knowledge and passion about First Aid. Providing an engaging and active learning workplace for your students. Providing outstanding customer service to all patrons in our city facilities. Qualifications Successful candidates must possess excellent leadership and organizational skills. They must be able to work evenings and/or weekends and teach classes in a variety of City of Surrey facilities. Candidates must hold at least one of the following awards and must be current at the time of hire.
