Resident Manager, New Westminster

A well‐established property management group is seeking an experienced Resident Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and professional operation of a residential rental building in New Westminster. Reporting to the Property Manager, this live‐in role is responsible for building operations, preventative maintenance, contractor oversight, and day‐to‐day resident support.

Your new role

• Oversee daily building operations, including common areas and mechanical systems
• Conduct regular inspections of common and mechanical areas
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance (non‐licensed work)
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and service providers
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal of the property
• Snow removal and ice control as required
• Respond to resident inquiries, service requests, and emergencies
• Complete work orders and basic administrative reporting
• Assist with suite turnovers, move‐ins/outs, and leasing tasks as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in property management, building operations, or resident management
• Strong practical knowledge of building systems and general repairs
• Working knowledge of the BC Residential Tenancy Act
• Experience with Yardi (Voyager/Breeze) and Angus, or similar systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
• Comfortable using a wide range of tools and performing hands‐on work
