As we continue to grow, we're looking for a sharp, experienced Dispatcher to be the backbone of our daily operations. The Role This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball, and knows how to communicate clearly and confidently — whether it's 7:00 AM or a last-minute change at 5:30 PM. As our Dispatcher, you'll be the central point of contact between our field crews, supervisors, and clients. You'll coordinate daily deployments, manage scheduling, respond to urgent requests, and make sure every job is staffed, equipped, and ready to go. What You'll Be Doing - Scheduling and dispatching Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) to job sites across the Lower Mainland and interior - Managing daily crew rosters, shift changes, and last-minute callouts - Communicating job details, site locations, and any changes to field staff in a timely and clear manner - Serving as the primary point of contact for clients regarding scheduling, changes, and in office updates - Coordinating with supervisors to ensure adequate staffing levels and equipment are in place for every shift - Maintaining accurate dispatch logs, timesheets, and job records - Monitoring active
jobs throughout the day and responding to field issues as they arise - Supporting the operations team with administrative tasks as needed What We're Looking For - Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience, preferably in traffic control, construction, or a related field operations environment - Strong knowledge of the Lower Mainland road network and municipalities - Excellent communication skills — you stay calm, clear, and professional under pressure - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment - Proficient with scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and comfortable learning new systems - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - A team player who takes ownership and follows through - Familiarity with WorkSafeBC regulations and traffic control operations is a strong asset What We Offer - Competitive salary based on experience - Full-time, stable employment with a growing company - Supportive team environment - Opportunity to grow within the organization - Extended health benefits (after probationary period) Schedule - Full-time | Monday to Friday with rotating on-call availability - Early start times required — this role supports crews beginning work at first light How to Apply If you have the experience, the drive, and the ability to keep operations moving no matter what the day throws at you, we want to hear from you.
