Description
Job Summary We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced CAD software to create precise and innovative designs for construction, engineering, or architectural projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex projects, develop technical skills, and work in a collaborative environment that values creativity and accuracy. The CAD Designer will play a critical role in translating conceptual ideas into detailed drawings and schematics that meet project specifications and industry standards. Duties - Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks. - Create accurate schematics, technical drawings, and construction documents aligned with project requirements. - Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to refine designs and ensure feasibility. - Utilize drafting best practices to produce clear, precise, and professional plans for construction or manufacturing processes. - Assist in the development of 2D animation visuals for project presentations or client proposals. - Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. - Maintain organized digital files of all CAD drawings and related documentation for easy access and version control. Requirements - Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks. - Solid knowledge of schematics, drafting techniques, and construction documentation processes. - Familiarity with 2D animation tools is a plus for visual presentations. - Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings. - Knowledge of industry standards related to civil engineering, architecture, or construction projects. - Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Relevant educational background in engineering, architecture, or drafting is preferred but not mandatory. This position offers an engaging environment for creative problem-solving and technical growth within the design field.
