Dog Trainer (Surrey)

We are looking for a professional Dog Trainer to join our team. Responsibilities: - Provide 1-on-1 dog training sessions with clients and dogs - Perform dog temperament and behavior assessments - Read dog body language and identify behavioral concerns - Create a calm, structured, and protected training environment - Help correct basic behavior issues such as leash pulling, jumping, reactivity, and poor manners - Supervise and manage dogs safely when needed - Prevent conflicts and safely intervene if necessary - Communicate professionally with clients and staff regarding training progress Requirements: - Must have hands-on 1-on-1 dog training experience - Strong understanding of dog behavior, body language, and handling techniques - Experience working with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments - Experience in daycare, boarding, kennel, or training environments is preferred - Must be dependable, patient, calm under pressure, and professional with clients Position Details: - 3-month probation period - Flexible schedule - Approximately 20–40 hours per week depending on performance and reliability We are looking for someone professional, experienced, dependable, and passionate about helping dogs and their owners build better behavior and stronger relationships.
