The City of Surrey's Culture Division seeks passionate Textile Art Program Instructors for various sessions in 2026. In this auxiliary position, you will develop and instruct vibrant classes targeted at preschoolers, children, youth, adults, and seniors. Your role also includes engaging in outreach activities, ensuring arts education is accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:• Instruct classes for all age groups and abilities • Create course content that enhances technical skills • Provide engaging, accessible textile art lessons • Submit lesson plans and supply lists for each class • Maintain a safe, positive learning environment

Requirements:• Degree/diploma in visual arts or related field • Minimum one year teaching experience required • Effective communication and classroom management skills • Current Emergency First Aid with CPR-C certification • Valid BC Driver's License is an asset
