Tap & Barrel South Surrey is looking for full time Sous Chefs who are motivated, outgoing, energetic individual to join our culinary team. We are looking for someone who has a huge guest & team mentality and will go above and beyond to give every guest that walks through the door the best experience possible! We are seeking people who are quick learners, comfortable in a kitchen environment and have a passion and love for the culinary industry with an interest in developing their career. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · A driven leader who treats their workplace like their own business · Mentor and inspire our teams to reach their full potential · Achieving Tap & Barrels goals and visions · Brand Ambassador in our recent community! · Leading and executing our culinary program · Staff development · Training and development SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS · Food Secure Level 1 · Maintain an organized and clean prep/work area · In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations. · Participate actively in a multi-functional, team environment. · Must be able to work under pressure. · Ability to learn quickly. · Positive friendly attitude. · Able to work all shifts including days, evenings, and weekend · Minimum 2 years cooking · Basic Excel and Tech Knowledge · Strong oral and written communication skills · Ability to work independently and self-motivated · Strong organizational skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Benefits: - Company events - Dental care - Discounted or free food - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off Application question(s): - reliably commute to work?
