Warehouse Associate (Surrey)

About Us Vancasa Building Supplies is a growing supplier of fencing, flooring, tiles, roofing, turf, and construction materials. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious Seasonal Warehouse Associate to join our team during our busy season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working both indoors and outdoors, and being part of a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities - Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently - Prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery - Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory - Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment - Assist customers with loading materials - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard - Move, stack, and store building materials throughout the facility - Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management - Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies - Perform general warehouse and yard duties as assigned Requirements - Previous warehouse experience required - Valid forklift certification and forklift operating experience required - Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day - Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical labor for extended periods - Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions - Strong work ethic and reliability - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety - Construction materials or building supply experience is considered an asset What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, physically fit, and takes pride in maintaining a productive and organized warehouse.
