Part Time Relief Pharmacist (New Westminster)

Position Summary

The Relief Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager and the Staff Pharmacist in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. What You’ll Do

Ensure excellent patient experience. Locate merchandise on the sales floor. Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals. Fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely using established workflow models. Counsel patients on sold pharmaceutical products.Store pharmaceutical products properly. Execute processes as per OBWs/SOPs. Operate all equipment in the pharmacy (register, computer system, etc.). Protect and maintain patient privacy at all times and follow provincial regulations established by the regulatory body. Ensure patients receive all eligible services they are entitled to (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet specific patient needs.Follow OBW regulations as per the Relief Pharmacist program. Travel to various locations and follow the schedules set by the Relief program coordinator. Collaborate with other health care providers within the store (clinics, Vision Centre, their community, etc.). Salary

The pay range for this position is $41.60 - $55.90/hr. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience. Minimum Qualifications

Age 16 or older. Pharmacist license (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization). Preferred Qualifications
