Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the BC curriculum and educational standards. Diversify instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of individual students and groups. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes inquisitive thinking and self-exploration.Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects that integrate various subject areas. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere. Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices. Foster strong partnerships with families, the Sikh temple, and the wider community to support students' holistic growth. Qualifications

Valid BC Teaching Certificate. Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent recognized by BC Ministry of Education. Understanding of different teaching methodologies and multiple intelligences. Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.Commitment to ongoing professional development. Teachers are required to cover their heads with a bandana while on school property, field trips, and professional development days. Teachers are required to bring vegetarian snacks and lunches (no meat, egg, or fish) while on school premises and during school hours. Language Requirement
