Barista/All Rounder (Surrey)

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your exceptional customer service skills will ensure that each guest has a memorable experience, making them feel valued and appreciated. Responsibilities - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as food items, following established recipes and standards. - Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. - Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas. - Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. - Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and payment collection. - Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Experience - Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. - Solid customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. - Experience with cash handling and cashiering is a plus. - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with food preparation techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.
