ARL Truck & Trailer Repairs Inc. We are currently looking for an experienced, Licensed Commercial Truck Mechanic to be part of our team. The position is a full-time permanent position. This is a family owned business that continues to grow at a rapid rate. We are located at 13175 115 Avenue, SURREY, BC. Shop Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 9:00pm Saturday: 8:00am – 4:30pm Sunday & Stat Holidays: CLOSED JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Afternoon Shift: 12:30pm - 9:00pm - Diagnose and complete repairs on all customer equipment - Ensure repairs meet regulatory and manufacturer requirements - Ensure all repairs and work is completed in a safe manner - Perform work in either the shop or job site setting - Maintain records of repairs completed - Demonstrates mechanical aptitude - hydraulics, hoisting and rigging equipment - Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications on a regular basis - Perform scheduled maintenance service - Work with little to no supervision to efficiently complete objectives and report on progress - Some weekend work will occur - Heavy Trailer maintenance required EMPLOYEE REQUIREMENTS: - Certified * or Experienced* - Valid BC Driver’s License - Detail orientated - Dependable and punctual - Ability to work individually and as part of a team - Welding experience is an asset WE OFFER: ARL offers a great working environment, with competitive wages and excellent benefit packages after probationary period.
